Mackenzie O’Brien Band

The Mackenzie O’Brien Band features Mackenzie O’Brien on lead vocals and a cast of mostly full time musicians presenting a mix of Americana, Country, and Indie music. Mackenzie has experienced success as a writer locally and in Nashville and landed over 20 original songs on small market radio in the USA and Europe.


Mackenzie has received recognition from industry insiders such as John Oates (Hall N Oates), country singer Lee Anne Womack, Woodstock 1969 fest founder Artie Kornfeld, and Courtney Burns (head talent producer at The Voice NBC. In 2019 Mackenzie was awarded a grant funded by The National Endowment for the Arts to aid in developing her brand.


The Mackenzie O’Brien Band formed late in 2018 and in one short year have performed live on WGN’s Midday News, have headlined at Bub CIty Rosemont, and have appeared at the Summer Solstice Fest, The Nashwood Fest, and the Kenosha and Walworth County fairs.
