About The Coffee House:
The Coffee House opened in the summer of 2012 and has since become a creative community hub for Burlington residents, regional artists, and a wide range of local and national musicians. We serve up freshly brewed Anodyne Coffee; breakfast, lunch and dinner; craft beer and wine; and a full calendar of events. Our current expansion is wrapping up, which includes the brand new addition of a commercial kitchen and bakery. We’re looking for someone to join our hard-working Coffee House family, who is excited to help us as we continue to grow.
REGISTER/BARISTA

JOB DUTIES include but not limited to:
-Deliver high quality, positive and engaging customer service
-Preparing specialty coffee drinks
-Maintaining a clean work space
-Washing dishes
-Cash handling
-Assisting with special events
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
-Great customer service skills to communicate and interface with customers
-Ability to learn new concepts and follow instructions
-Ability to work in high paced environment while delivering good quality service with a smile.

SANDWICH MAKER/KITCHEN PREP
NOW HIRING: Part or Full-time prep cook and sandwich maker. Opportunity to grow into a leadership roll in the kitchen.
HOURS: Candidate should be flexible with work schedule. Hours needed are between 5:30 a.m. and 10 p.m. We are currently hiring for nights and weekends.
JOB DUTIES include but not limited to:
-Food prep, slicing meats and cheeses, preparing soups, making sauces and dressings, making sandwiches to order, baking, menu planning, training other sandwich makers and prep cooks, ordering
-planning and prepping for catering events.
-Clean food prep areas, cooking, surfaces, equipment, utensils.
-Maintain health, sanitation and safety standards in work areas.
-Communicate respectfully and efficiently with kitchen staff and baristas.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
-Prior experience preparing sandwiches and food to order preferred.
-Good customer service skills to communicate and interface with customers.
-Ability to learn new concepts and follow instructions to prepare sandwiches/food based on customer specifications.
-Ability to work in high paced environment while delivering good quality service with a smile.
-Knowledge of health code and safety standards for City of Burlington, preferred.

BARTENDER
NOW HIRING: part-time; 2 - 4 shifts per month
HOURS: Hours needed are Thursdays-Saturdays from 3 p.m. - Midnight.
JOB DUTIES include but not limited to: crafting specialty cocktails, developing knowledge of craft beers and wines. Maintaining a clean bar (nightly cleaning includes: sweeping, mopping, cleaning bar, bathrooms, etc.)
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Good customer service skills to communicate and interface with customers. Ability to learn new concepts and follow instructions to prepare specialty drinks based on customer specifications. Ability to work in high paced environment while delivering good quality service with a smile.
